How do I remove the piston on girling alfa 33 P4 rear calipers?
I need to replace the dust seals but don't see how the pistons come out? Can anyone help please?

Get yourself a brake piston winding tool, the pistons are on a threaded rod & need to wound out.

Thanks for the reply.
I thought that would be the case but they don't seem to rotate. Playing with the handbrake mechanism it seem to be possible to get the piston to jump the indexing and move out further - but not back in again but neither caliper seems to want to rotate?

Brilliant, thank-you.
Now all I need to find is the winding tool for the piston.

An update for info...
I got a tool but the pistons would not rotate, so I sent them off for refurb. They are back now, good as new. They are on the car and waiting to be bled.
