Newbie says hello

Just wanted to say hello to all and sundry.

Met Shrew last week and had a good laugh in the Nottinghamshire rain swapping tales of Italian cars past and present.

Just about to start the restoration of a black Sud S3 TiX. Had the itch after 30 years and memories of my first Alfasud EAA353W, another 1.5ti.

Commited Italian car nut and looking forward to catching up with the forum.

Damon

Hi, and welcome. There are some great chaps on here for getting good advice from.

Good luck with your restoration and as part way through mine and at the risk of sucking eggs.....

Take lots of photo's.

Get lots of boxes to put parts in.

You cannot label parts too much, I have discovered the hard way.

Good luck. :D

Welcome aboard Damon,
As Shrew has probably told you, there are plenty of Italian car nuts here.
As said, plenty of photos, boxes, labels etc. Re-sealable freezer bags are useful and cheap as well.
Good luck chap, and keep us posted.
Cheers
Keith :D

Hi mate

glad to see you aboard, but then how could you resist? :D

I know its not likely to start this week, or even next, but i for one look forward to your restoration thread once you start. Having spoke to you previously, i know your a resourceful sort, and certainly made the right noises about the quality you'll be after.

Should be a great car mate, Get Cracking! :P

welcome Damon, this is the best pace for Sud stuff, - looking at your user name, it suggests you may be a bike nut too, also plenty of those on here too !
John.
