Well, i didn't know it was going to be on, and don't shoot me down if its the 3rd repeat, but it was great to see none other than Jamie Porter and his Alfaworkshop sort the motor, and Tim Booth of Pro-Strip, in nottingham, who I've known for years, dip the shell to oblivion!
Well done chaps,
Anyone else see it?

I saw that one, the car was very rough to begin with. The fake set up where they pretended to be organising a family gathering in order to surprise the owner made me cringe though! Quite moving though as the poor owner obviously suffering with health problems was pretty overwhelmed by it all.

Yes, the poor fella had Parkinsons and wasnt going to have a license for much longer. Plus he'd never ever driven the thing ever since buying it about 40 years previous!
It was quite a task i think, shame you didn't get to see more of the body coming together.
The parts sourcing made me chuckle though.
Tim boasting he was going to a specialist for these cars, one of the best stockists, nothing a problem, biggest stock levels blah blah blah...
"Any front wings?" No!
"A front panel?" No!
"A dash?" No!
"Steering column?" No!
Etc etc, you get the idea
I'm sure he said this specialist was in leicestershire, and the only place i could think of was JCS in Kegworth?
I felt very lucky to love Sud's i can tell you!
They did start to get parts through from somewhere but i missed where from?
