The entrance will be marked out with MITCAR sings off the A43, NOT through the village of Deene according to the website.
See you guys there 8-)

Just thought I'd better ask John if we are OK to get trailers in on thegrounds, I've not been to this venue before so have no idea on what space will be available.
Happy to report that John is very much looking forward to seeing us there and will happily accomodate cars arriving on trailers and we should be able to find space to tuck the towcars & trailers away somewhere to allow the race Suds to join the display for all to admire. He's a big Sud fan so is really keen on seeing all the different cars.

All sounding good Kev.
I have been trying to pull a few newbies over from "the other side" . Hopefully they will try and come along and join us.
One is thinking of getting a Sud, the other an owner hoping to meet some fellow fans.
Fingers crossed.

Have you seen all the Suds on ebay?

Well I've got the clutch slave cylinder changed in the 6C - and I've obviously disturbed the electrics as it now won't start! And we are due to go abroad next week......

Oh dear Philip, do you think you can sort the gremlins out in time?
Good luck.

I might be able to :? ........but I might also see about plan B - with a car and trailer? ;)

Well the 6C is fine but I could not get it MoTd as my local tester is in hospital.
Still I have access to a trailer and can borrow a Navarra from a friend- except it has a broken camshaft. His wife also has a tow car but it is new and he broke her old car when towing.......
So ........is anybody coming near Thurleigh (just off the A6 North of Bedford) on Sunday morning going to MITCAR with a towball on their car/truck???

even if it's not quite finished it's well worth bringing it, it should be the best turn out of suds for years, and years to come. loads more cars i've heard of this weekend that will be attending that aren't on our list....

It does look like a good day...there are so few around and you hardly ever see large numbers of Suds these days so this meeting looks quite special

i know i'm biased, been peddling this idea for some time now, but i can guarantee that when the folks that don't go see the pictures of the folks that do go they'll wish they had 8-)

having said that i fully understand the logistics for folks, cars that aren't ready, costs of travel etc.

but, it should be a collection of suds to rival anywhere in the world....shouldn't it? ;)

I can't bring a sud but I'm coming up with the Mrs and the GTV6. She wants the country house experience and I want to meet the CAF elite!

I will try and get close to the sud section.

See you there.

You're not wrong there mate, should be a good show.
Going to give the car a clean tomorrow plus extra wax as, I hate to be the bearer of grim news, but weather is looking iffy :( :(
Rain or shine we will be there.
Anyone got a gazebo ??

Weather a bit iffy eh...perhaps I should fit those wing liners after all... Doh! The list is getting longer again.

I've got a Gazebo but it's not the best, as long as it's not too windy it should stay put.

wind is the enemy of the gazebo, i have one that came from shrew so could bring that.
trouble is if it's windy the danger of it blowing onto some precious bodywork is too big to chance.
may grab it and take it just in case

Good news guys.
If we can trust the forecast it looks like the weekend in Northamptonshire will stay dry.
We have had a couple of wet days, but it is now set to start clearing up as of tonight.
As long as its dry, were laughing.
See ya all Sunday. :D

That's good news! Forecast looked crap at one stage.

I'm going up in the Alfetta and I have no idea where I will be parking. Will I be able to get anywhere near the sud section? If anyone knows I wouldn't mind some directions.

Steve

Sun is out now, so off out for some fuel.
Northants has the balloon festival this weekend so they have been keeping an eye on the weather for the flight plan.
Keep them fingers crossed.

Ha ha !!
Thing is Simon, Jonathans will always be original.
Love that car, will be great to see it again and looking forward to seeing your black S2.
Hope we can get every sud that turns up, parked together, they will need telling at the gate on arrival if they were not aware of our plans.
