Nope ... I get a good rate still ....
So now .... I just need to get the injectors sorted ... However I reckon its more electrical than injectors them selves .. however I shall price up 2 new ones though..
then its the alloys! but I already know where to go for those, don't I ...

Forgot to mention ... I got 2 new rear tyres fitted yesterday ... had the fronts done in January ( I think) .. backs were almost ready, so got them done.
Have to take my eldest to Luton airport on Monday.. she's off to Barcelona to catch up with friends for a week (lucky sod

) .. Graeme was supposed to be taking her initially, given head office is only in MK .. however .. now has to attend a meeting .. so Mother shall be taking the chick... should be a good run 120 miles ish each way . Not often I get to do those miles anymore and will be interested to see what fuel economy I am getting these days ..

Think I'll be looking to see what maximum size Wiper Blades I can squeeze on to the Alfetta then find some bargain ones on eBay. Hope I get it right as I hate having to untangle twisted bits of metal and rubber.......

Could do Joe but the complete Arms with Blades are cheap enough. To my mind the standard size of 17" ( I think that's what they are ) are a bit short and I'm thinking that I could possibly fit 20" ones on there. Just have to do a careful measure up and possibly fit some " dummy " extensions on the existing ones to be sure of the maximum length I can fit without any unforeseen problems.
1980's Alfas are not renowned for their ergonomics, calling them quirky at best is a huge overstatement !

Very similar to the Wheels on the Alfetta, tooth brush, soapy water and a lot of hassle does the trick.
Mind you I have noticed that that my toothpaste does seem to have a different flavour the day after, odd coincidence perhaps.......

I'll be outside soon measuring up, have a nasty feeling that 19" will be the ideal size. I'm not that cheap, honest guv, I'll be buying the complete Arms with super duper Blades for about a fiver a pair !
Dunno about Poundwotsit in Boston, very rare that I go into town.

Had a measure up yesterday and reckon I can squeeze 20 " onto the Alfetta, currently has 18" ones fitted.
If it all goes wrong I'll just scweam and scweam..........

Just been out for a spin in the Alfetta, always nice to have a blast in this. Took it out to the RSPB site at Frampton Marsh and had a walk around the Reed Beds there to admire the multitude of birds that live there, all sheethawks so far as I could see.......
On route I got a few admiring glances, mainly from young ladies, never realized I was so handsome. S'pose it could have been the car and not me but a man has to have his dreams.

I feel a scientific experiment is in order to find out the whether it's the car or the driver that attracts. When the GTV6 returns I will run it down to Brighton and see how that works out!
