still not sure on which headlights to go with, always loved the look of the twin headlight set-up with one light bigger than the other.
i do need to either find new lenses (rumoured to be new glasses in the car somewhere...) or new lights complete for the outer ones.
or i can use these that came with the car, brand new and still in the walkers supplied lancia boxes.
but i'm not keen on the evo lights so may well sell them

I love the big and small setup. Looks the business.

It's like it's looking at you with an attitude - "Do you see how I'm looking at you ???"

Your only looking at Kev that way because he got the panels over here and you didn't get to cut the one up at your mates place

Will you be going full on martini or keeping it red? Probably safer keeping it red or you may find yourself diving down farm tracks giving it loads of oppersite lock

Looking on ebay, noone appears to have the whole package, i.e. the lamps, backplate, surround, trim etc, they're all there in small numbers but individually.

Judging by the prices they want for parts, your complete new units look to worth about 500 quid a side!

That'd make a healthy donation to the delta fund eh! :P

Getting someone to pay that is a different matter, but i would at least try, you never know,

They might rip your hand off if it completes one of the 30k cars out there eh

with the weather still decent and the need for this car not to fall totally to the back of my queue, an expanding queue by the day, rob and me set to today and stripped out the interior to see if we'd got a flinstones job and find waht else we'd got stacked against us.

happy to say that the floors and inner sills are in great condition

not so good though is we appear to have pretty much floating rear strut turrets!

when the side seat squabs were taken out there was an ominous sign of corrosion that i just knew meant more work

as i thought that rob said he'd found some rust uner the tailgate cover, not unexpected but i didn't think the hatch was in too bad shape.

not a good start :(

once we'd got all the seats out, carpet up and boot emptied we got poking with a big stick.

found (made) a few holes :D

drivers side rear first off, can you see the bumper?

passenger side not much better although the fuel tank filler is hiding stuff at the moment...

had a better look at the passenger side panels too, hadn't looked too closely before.

rear door will repair i think, nice shot of the multiple missing layers under it :)

wing has a nasty rusty bit on the arch, glad now i picked a decent one up for £15 now on the off chnce i might need it!

brave or blind to it mate, not sure which!

to be perfectly honest though i just don't have the cash to buy a 20k integrale so fixing one up is the only way.
having said that though even buying a 10k car would be open to finding this sort of corrosion once the covers are all off so at least once it's done i'll know what i've got.

actually i'm itching to get started but i've got a few loose ends to finish off elsewhere first....

I would be more happy doing a rusty one and knowing it's mint after

As I bet a lot have been badly repaired over the years
