Hi Marco,
Love the air conditioning, does the vent pipe run to the indicator housing?
Car looks well prepared,
Liam

Hi Liam
Wasn't sure about the aircon myself tbh but it's growing on me ! The car is very well prepared indeed for the money I paid, which was $500........
When you say vent pipe, do you mean oil breather ?

Yes, I still don't get it - the only thing I've found so far is that the car has no wiper motor or linkage etc, just the actual wipers on the screen - weight saving I guess - shouldn't be too hard to source, even out here !

The silver pipe to the left of the steering wheel, does it run to the indicator for fresh air into the cockpit?
Great car for $500, you stole it, good luck.

Hi guys
Well - you know what they say about the best laid plans ? Business and personal issues have kept me away from the track so far with the car, but I'm hoping to do something with it this season.
Basically the car needed some structural welding of one of the front chassis legs, and while it was in the workshop a few other things were done, but progress was painfully slow.....
I've only just got the car back, and still haven't driven it in anger ! Mind you I've moved house to an area with very quiet roads, so I might sneak it out now and again for a quick blast. The road I live on is called Round Mountain Road, and it was used as a special stage on the 2009 WRC round over here !
I'm planning on getting a setup on the car that Chris Snowdon kindly sent me, and plan to test the car at Lakeside Raceway on Feb 27th, and if all goes well I'll do the first of 4 hillclimbs at Grafton.
Before I do any of that, I want to convert the wheel bolts to studs/nuts, as it's driving me mad getting the wheels back on every time I want to do anything !
Oh, by the way, I've set up a website -
http://www.racingiseverything.com - and it has Facebook page too if you want to take a look !
Be lucky !

Nice site mate. I hope that goes well for you
I did stud conversion on my sud hubs, and jyst about everything i own too, its a great improvement as you know.
I also did one more thing to the sud though, and that was to redrill them at 4x100 pcd, so now i can fit anything from fiat alfa lancia patterns in the original positions, or use vw,opel, bmw, etc etc 100mm, or even 4" old English pcd with the use or corrective nuts.
The wheel choice really opens up once you have 4x100!
I'll have a different set for each day of the week soon! Lol!
