my mate paul took my 33 to mitcar, brought it back to me last night, really wanted to keep it i think :)

anyway, i didn't move it until tonight and found some 33 brochures in it inc the proper one for it, a 33 boxer 16V QV one. very nice

just texted him to ask if he'd bought it and forgotten it in the car, or if i'd left it in there as i know jim lent me one some time back but i was sure i'd retuned that one.....turns out when paul got back to the 33 someone had left them under the wiper arms. he thought i'd bought them and left them there...

so it seems someone has done a very geneous thing and donated some brochures that suit the exact model of the car

whoever that was, a big thank you. i will buy you a beer when i find out who you are!

needless to say the brochures will remain with the car for the rest of its days along with the big service history it has ;)

Kev, do you have an original Alfa owners handbook folder for the 33?

I have the folder (minus any booklets etc), its a very strange brown / fake wood colour and destined for the bin unfortunatley - it was another loft find.

next time though i propose setting up a gazebo with chairs in a nice group so we can picnic and chat together in a nice little community feel :)

date/venue won't be known until january at the earliest but by the nature of it being the midlands italian car day it'll be ...in the midlands :D

usually around the middle of august too
I will stand up the the "missus" and demand to be there next year :D :D
Hopefully in Kermit and a few pounds lighter than going "all inclusive" for 2 weeks

Hi Kev,

I put them on your 33 :-), without realising it was yours !

Had a clear out and also dropped a S4 Spider one into a car not far from your 33 as well.

Much rather they stayed with a 33, my first Alfa so always have a soft spot for the 33.

Mark, you are a true Gent, as we all knew 8-)

Rest assured they were greatly appreciated and will be staying with the car for the rest of its days. Thanks you very much mate, a really nice gesture.
