Just listened to this and done the two second delay in a second window as suggested by someone who commented. Confused as to why?
That ruined an otherwise good track and not really a NIN fan.

A bit "Old School" as I have resurrected our old music centre and so played a mix of Gilbert and Sullivan "Yeomen of the Guard", Beatles "Abbey Road" and Carol King "Tapestry" 12" vinyl complete with clicks, hisses and speed slurring!

Thanks Shrew, I'm glad you like it. And I will continue doing this stuff, since I got the guitar set-up through the PC I have been able to access so much more in the way of effects processing it's got me really enthused about playing again. And there's nothing like a shedload of reverb and delay to cover up poor technique

My lad niall uses an apple software called Logic Pro to currently produce his "banging tunes!"

Just cost way too much to set him up with a macbook pro for just that purpose because they use that at his college,

Rubs me up the wrong way i can tell you, bloomin apple schmapple!

But we hope one day he'll be retiring us early once he's big and famous!

Shame hes gone so dance orientated at the mo though, he can shred a guitar a good 'un but hasnt picked it up hardly in around a year! :(

I agree, the cost of these music applications is often prohibitive (especially if Apple are involved), and with no opportunity to compare the various packages, and only having a 10-year old PC to run them on, I didn't want to fork out hundreds of £££s only to find the software didn't work. Up until recently I have done everything without the aid of computers (electric guitar, loads of Boss pedals, real synthesisers instead of virtual ones etc.), so the freeware approach allowed me to experiment with very little financial outlay - just £20 for the USB guitar interface.

Oh, and another £20 to upgrade the tuners on my old Les Paul copy - what a difference they made, should have done it 30 years ago...
