Various Series 3 Sud Parts for Sale

Post by Ollie44 »

Hi all,

Thanks to my dad, we have a large selection of new and used parts for Series 3 Suds that we no longer have any use for. The majority of new parts are for a 5 door Series 3 Sud (Y Reg) and the used ones are for a 3 door Series 3 Sud (X Reg).

In terms of new parts we have: A complete exhaust system, brake pads, spark plugs, distributor caps, various sills, O/S rear wheel arc repair panel and a few more items

In terms of used parts we have amongst many other items: A full set of seats, pedals and master cylinders, steering column and steering arm, various interior and exterior trim, centre console, speedo, radio, lights, seat belts, fuel tank, bumpers and a large amount of wiring.

We will be happy to supply photos of any parts you're interested in as well as detailing all other items. If anyone requires anything for this model feel free to ask and I'll let you know if we have it. I would be happy to accept any reasonable offers for the parts.

Anyone interested?

Hi Oliver

I could do with a brake master cylinder please. It is for a 1978 1500ti and I am not worried about if it is the right year, but is it servo assisted, ta.

Hi James.....just so you are aware, the master cylinders from both the Alfa 33 and Alfa 75 will fit the sud servo . I have one from a 75 fitted to my Sprint, it came from EB spares.

Hi Tim

Many thanks. Just found some excellent measurements on the forum of the Sud, 33 etc brake cylinder bore which I thought would be very handy as it meant I could identify mine.

No, it just meant I now know mine is none of them. Looks like I shall just buy anyone of them and start again. :D

If you're going to buy any of them, I'd make it the 75 as said before it is a tad larger bore so can help improve braking, especially as part of an upgraded set.

You can get 3 and 4 port. So you can tailor the brake line layout according to your plan.

Hi Shrew.

Thanks for that.

It would seem that I need a much larger one to make the front 4 pot callipers work well. The master cylinder I have taken off is 29mm bore

and could be rebuilt, but I cannot get hold of seals when I cannot identify it.

My only other thought is to find an Alfa one that is the same bore. I would prefer the car to have as many Alfa or atleast Italian bits as possible.

Hi there

I'm interested in some low beam outer headlights RHD for a series 3. The later type that mount directly into the plastics surround and have no metal backing plate on the surround.
Please let me know if you can help.

Thanks Andrew

Hi Andrew,

It took me 3 posts before my PM became enabled. I've attached the photo of the only lights we've got but I'm pretty sure they're not the type you're after.

Hi Ollie, haven't had chance to thank you for sorting bits out and arranging pick up, all bits safely wrapped and stored for a "rainy day"
Cheers
