Danish Zender Sprint

Post by SteffenJ3316V »

This is my Sprint. It has been in my ownership for almost 5 year but I know the history and the person who rebuild it back in 1991/1992. It sits on Ronal A1 7x15 and yellow Koni with 45 mm lowering spring At the moment it got a 1,7 ie engine converted to carbs with raised compresion, lighter rods, 282 degress C&B cams, very light ported heads and a 2,5" Iresa exhaust with a crossover manifold. It puts out around 130 bhp which is not enough so I'm building a 16v on carbs just for the fun of it :)
Here is a ton of pics :)

Beautiful Sprint, it's your car that makes me want to keep mine black, instead of going orange or green!! :D

Loving the A1s as well!

Thank you :) I got all sorts of plans with it (16V on carbs) but our 2 month old son is acting up a bit right now. Hopefully I will be ready in May :)

Finally got some time to work on the 16V engine :) Big ends bearings ok so no point in changing them :) TB etc striped of the engine. Will get a nice cleaning with hot steam and after that some green Hammerite :)

Yes they have been milled from solid. A danish guy who works with CNC machines made them to use on his own buggy. Then he desided to make a few ekstra pairs to make a buck since all the hard work with making the programe for the machine was done :) They are by far the best ones i have seen :)
