Alfasud ti QV various parts where to get?

Post by buzzed »

Hi guys,

After a few things for a 1.5ti '84 sud ti QV.

1. Front and rear badges, are they still sold new, if so from where? Mine are a bit sad.
2. Drivers door card. Trying to hunt one down in exceptional condition.
3. Door seals - what are the options here? I hate buying aftermarket crap that does not fit..any NOS about, or good deals second hand?
4. Carpet - Min has tears and is threadbare. I'm after a red carpet in excellent condition.
5. Exhaust - Any good upgrades out there?
6. Suspension bush's - where to buy nolethane bushing for sud? Peoples experiences?
7. Vernier cam gears - where do I find them?
8. Carby trumpets - where can we get these? (I'll make them if I have to)
9. Trofeo flares - who sells these?

OK...that will do for now!

Cheers
Mike

hi mate

i can help with a few of those bits.

trumpets = eurocarb / webcon

suspension bushes = powerflex made, crest motorsport in nottingham will sell them to you at best prices ive found if you drop my name for trade discount, shrew, petrol head parts

trofeo flares = bob wright fibreglass / also a company in portugal who's name completely escapes me! anyone?

exhaust = oooh, now i've really no idea! ;) (gutted my name hasn't reached Australia yet! tut! )

the rest of the list, i would try our very own John at Justsuds, he will likely have most of that for you, and a top man too.

good luck mate

Fiatchris had my spare badges sorry. Peter at alfasud-parts has some and he did have brand new door cards though not cheap.

Thanks guys, that is some great leads. I will get on it.

Yep, Shrew, I had spotted you do exhausts. I should probably start a thread on exhaust sizing, as it is unecconomical to ship such items to Aus...doubles the price.

Trofeo was really just pie in the sky stuff....again...got to really want the stuff once shipping is added to the equation.

Can I also add floor mats? Anyone had suscess with decent floor mats? Something like black with alfa romeo script that fit nicely? Might hide my dire carpet for now.

Hi chap

As for the exhaust , would it be cheaper if it was in kit form? Or would it be down to weight and size?

Weight and size are the two variables they use, but on top of that, add the dire covnersion rate for Aussie dollar at the moment and it gets a bit silly when I can just get it done locally.

have you had a look on Bertelsbeck or on Alfa-Service? Postage may still be prohibitive though.........

Good luck :-)

I checked them out, no interior or exterior parts? Do you contact them direct for stuff not shown on their web or is that everything they have?

I can get most stuff here in Aus for maintenance purposes, its just the trim that is the tricky bit. Still hunting a red carpet also.

Thanks for all the help, I've located quite a few things now which is great.

Cheers
