Sprint Veloce drum brake clip

Post by Crank »

After pulling apart the siezed rear right drum brake. I can't find the small clip from the self adjusting mechanism. I presume Alfa 33's with drum brakes are the same. I have attached a photo of the one from the left brake which must be a mirror image of the missing part. Does anyone have one in their spares stash or know were I can find one ?

Its not easy to spot. It sits horizontally below the toothed adjuster cog in the top left of the photo. But you can only see the upturned silver edge engauging the toothed cog. The photo on ebay of a clean new setup is very useful, so thanks for finding that as i missed it.

The clip you want is part of the adjuster mechanism.

These seem to be easily available on Ebay.

If you are doing a full rear brake rebuild, it might be worth investing in a pair?
