Evening all,
anyone know the thread size of the fitting that screws into the top of the clutch slave cylinder (the hose coming from the clutch master cylinder). It seems to be 12mm diameter with a pitch of 1mm. In imperial it’s 26 TPI but I’m assuming it’s metric, so 1mm pitch.
Thing is M12 fine thread is 1.25mm pitch, so it can’t be that.
Anyone know what it is.
Cheers.
Ed

Ok, I’ve actually found a blanking plug on eBay that is m12 x 1mm pitch, so I guess they exist after all.

Re: Clutch slave cylinder thread size
Cheers Gary. No, not changing the hose/pipe, just want to blank it off when disconnecting from the slave cylinder, as want to drop the engine and been fighting with that £@&$#’ing circlip on the back of it and thinking, just disconnect and bleed again on reconnection. Usual fun and games
Re: Clutch slave cylinder thread size
Normal procedure is to remove and replace the circlip to avoid bleeding.
