So chuffed! The Sprint Speciale made it to it's first show for many years at the weekend in The Italian Car & Motorcycle Day at Newby Hall. Great stuff. Well worth the long wait. I haven't stopped smiling yet.
She ran beautifully with good oil pressure and a constant water temperature. The brakes need bedding in and the fuel gauge had a mind if its own for a while on the trip but otherwise perfect. Pictures here....

Well, I'm back. I've had a few health scares over the last few years which accounts for me going AWOL recently but I'm now back to full health.
An update. ODE has moved on to another Alfasud nut in Cambridgeshire. In the meantime, I've got myself another Sud to keep me happy.

Hi Colin. Sorry to hear you’ve not been well. Glad to see your up and about again and hopefully running in all cylinders. ODE really does you proud and glad it’s found a new home with another Alfisiti. You know the rules. We need to see proof of the new addition / ODEs replacement. Or it doesn’t exist !! Btw if you’ve still got it would it be possible to post the radio to me. As I don’t know when we’ll meet up again. I’ll sort you out for postage somehow .

Yep. It was pretty hard to lose ODE but I didn't have much choice really.

It was the perfect storm Gary. Ill health struck and then I lost my garage space.

Still, I do, as I say, have another Sud to keep me busy. I'll start a new topic presently and all will be revealed. Watch out for it.
