Prefer this Kev

Or

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Minichamps-1 ... SwDnNgAKqv

Neither cheap for miniature versions. I once bought a full size sud and drove it home for 50 quid.

Yes that makes me recall when a chum and I were mistaken for rich people near Harrods

and the Hermes bag the chap was selling would have bought us a car to drive back to the peak district in style.

I had one of those when I was sixteen, but branded as a Gitane, it was a Champion 6 model, - 6 speed ! but otherwise the same as this, with the same frame , tank, seat etc, I,ve never seen another since !

I remember the Gitane one and am sure one of my chums from the vintage motorcycle club was running one on the road on methanol. He was a character as they say !

Yep the key moment is that lying in bed early doors and thinking `I should never have sold that one'.

Rocky road from there on.

Is a nice example Tony, but I would rather the coupe version. Amazing how values of everything are going skyward, 10 years ago if you knocked a zero off you'd still be struggling to sell. Good if you've already got a car, not so much for purchasing..
List of hard to refuse Lancia models for me (realistic ones of course...) are ; Dedra (all models), early Delta 1.5 (my 1st Italian car), Beta coupe & Prisma.
For the Prisma I have had a few but one had odd badges on years ago that I couldn't figure out, on the side sill covers like the Hf cars "4.16" and on the boot. Never did understand what it meant, assumed 4cyl and 1600cc as that's what it was. A chance conversation with the club mag editor last year when he did a feature on forgotten Lancia and the Prisma came up , so I mentioned having a strange one with these 4.16 badges on...
He says "blimey, really? Did you have one, and where is it now?"
No idea, I says, sold it to my brother and he ran it for a while. Why, have you heard of them, I could never get any idea what it was, presumed something odd like badges had been added but all looked factory badges..
He tells me they did a very rare low production run of the Prisma with the 1600cc engine but with the 16V head fitted, similar to the Abarth type heads but still Lancia branded but called 4.16.......hen's teeth in UK apparently.....I'd love to find that car again!

Yes, spotted that. A guy on the Lancia forum is after one, he's interested in it.
Nearly bought one 10 or so years ago, tatty like that one but about a grand, nobody wanted them at the time.
Another one of the "should have bought it" cars
