Series1 or series 2 sud shell 2 door wanted

Post by Veesix75 »

Looking for (arn't we all!!) a solid s1 or s2 two door shell (so with a boot).

Don't want or need any panels or interior, but prefer front screen to be in, and for it to roll, but just a bare, structurally solid shell.

I can't weld so a stripped/ part done abandoned project would ideal, but not a basket case needing lots of work ( will leave those for Kev!), as my skills involve spanners not goggles and gas.

Let me know if one turns up ! I am serious, I do want one.....

Thanks Tim

Btw......I am also going contact Claudia Schiffer via tw@tter for a date..........cos you have to live in hope!

i know where there is an ex racer S2 shell, been through a few of our hands.....i had the cage out of it for my track day sud.
does need some welding though......but is cheap.
smusician has it so maybe contact him?

good luck mate finding a solid shell, most that don't need welding will have already been stashed away to become mint cars, like mine was.

but then, as you say, keep the hopes alive ;)

while you're asking claudia schiffer can you ask her to put a word in to kelly brook for me

cheers mate :D

Your right kev ive still got the sud its sat in garden lookin rustic I did some of the welding!Rebuilt the rear axle and put it on 15s but since I launched the bizness dont have time for the 33 never mind the sud! The plan was to get a cage in it then build a spit to get the rest of the welding done also im getting earache from my son he wants it for non contact hot rod oval racing I dont want it to go down that route id rather scrap it But yes its for sale open to offers

I'm sorted now with a shell, however if you decide to keep yours and want a cage that would be good enough for track days with a bit of work then I will soon have one that while not perfect in looks and and would need welding back together, would work (its in a Sud, but I think it might be for a sprint). It has an old scruitineering sticker on it so must have been used for racing at some stage.
