These are handmade by the legendary Bob Ridgard, a supplier to works race and rally teams of Alfa Romeo, Ford etc etc
He had a different approach, using tubular steel frame and strap construction, double welded for superior strength, and further quality enhancements.
I bought these for my track/road Alfasud because of the quality, lack of weight, and the Ridgard's history and association with racing Alfa Romeo's, Bob himself a competitor in Alfa's too.
They are in beautiful condition, i have never fitted them to my own car, but stored them as dry and sensibly as possible, and it shows.
No holes or tears, just a very minor amount of support foam movement on the driver side bucket base, easily rectified.
These are side-mounted, as all current competition seats are, and are shaped to accept a full harness or regular seat belt
Beautiful seats, extremely comfortable, oozing quality, and very very rare, currently the only set i can find online for sale.
