... The garage?

When are we all getting back on the road this year? Any prep you'll be doing?

Ditto for me, although the plan is this year (same plan as last year if truth be told, but this time nearer to reality)

New AVO coil-overs on order, that's the last major mechanical obstacle to getting an MoT...

I have a different gearbox to be fitted, and an electronic ignition to go with the 1.7 Engine. Should be good to go to Spring Alfa day.

Been for its new tyres today.

Cannot believe the improvement in grip with the new Goodyear Efficient Grip compared to the Pirelli P6000.

Sud performed faultlessly in the snow and made me giggle all day.

Done exactly 20000 miles in it today since I got it! :D

You're a brave man!

I'm getting mine ready and hopefully will have a first drive over easter.

Still have to get the fuel pump fixed, and sort out the exhaust which Powerflow massively messed up.

What have they messed up?

The missed the hanger off the bend at the back completely so it constantly drops down, all the other hanger look like tin foil and constant come off as the weight bends them.. poo job..

I should have guessed when they wanted to cut a whole in the bumper!

The trouble with Powerflow, is that they operate as a franchise i believe, so in one city you could get a decent job, but in another you get a right monkey doing it,

sadly it sounds like you got the monkey!

You should have come up north for a proper job mate, and give them the bill for fixing it :P

you're right about the powerflow franchise thing mate, place in town does them. to be fair they don't do too bad a job so maybe one of the better ones but as you say, being a franchise situation it's all down to the individual garage as to how well they are made. not like they place an order and fit a part, being made on site puts the whole onus on the guy building it to do a good job.

me, i'd just as sooner let shrewbedoo make me another one.....done a few now and all been decent, I just need to not sell the car after having them done!
