Too many projects piled up, not so many hours available to faff about earning nothing.
The last year, I've been working at my uncles Body repair shop, using up a corner with a lift which was greatly appreciated, with the agreement that I would help him out as well on the mechanical stuff of his customers cars that went in for body repairs after an accident.
This was both good and bad.
First, when there were cars of his own in, then my schedule was messed up and delayed, then everytime I took a car there to work on, I had to move 5,6 other cars at least, just so that I could get inside the hangar, put the car on the lift, and then start to work. In addition, at the end of the day, I either had to get the car back on the trailer and take it back home, or move cars again to make way to get it out if it was done.
The plus side was that I didnt have to pay rent, and I could make as much noise as I wished, bothering nobody.
However, this got tiring and inefficient. I only have 2 afternoons per week to work till very late and a full Saturday, so it all came to the point where I was either gonna give up on my second job, or take it more seriously.
So I went for the second option.
Found a warehouse in an industrial area to suit my needs, and rented it out.
Still in the process of moving cars and parts and tools to it, but its slowly getting there
