Who brought this all the way from the states, it cannot be worth it, there is only the paint holding it together.
And should i bid early or late ?
Do you think it would take long to fix.
Re: Do you think it would take long to fix.
Should be fine, a light skim of filler and a little polishing and you'd never know those gaping holes all over the bodywork were ever there...
Re: Do you think it would take long to fix.
It is buy now Mate, so anytime.
I think it would take a bit of time, but more money.
Hope it does get restored by someone as it needs saving.

Have a look on the Giulietta Register website,
Giulia spiders/coupes are going for £50-£80k
So, the SS is worth a lot more!

Yeah, if it could be repaired using a 'cheap' Giulia as a donor (there's a lovely spider for £28k on Ebay) and make 100k that'd be a worthwhile investment, but besides the obvious bodywork issues it's got no interior, the dash has rotted away and it hasn't even got the right engine, so basically you're buying a VIN, some transmission (hopefully) and an idea for the £17k. Still, I guess even including a donor you've still got £50k to play with to turn that shadow of a car into a real one.alfadave wrote:Or look on Car and Classic

OTOH I think the standard spider is much prettier anyway so personally I wouldn't bother even if I did win the lottery and had money to burn on it
