You're dead right there Tony im afraid.

Far slower than a bike, and too wide to overtake at any more opportunities than the donor car could, in fact probably less so because they handle so badly,

And i have to say in this instance, what a waste of engine, transmission, plus a pair of rare split rim revolutions too.

Its different yes, but not for me personally, although i have been tempted to build one just for the crack from a boxer motor :P

I feel the same about trikes, in fact a side car is so much more fun.

The inherent instability makes it hard to drive well and so then focusing on the task gives pleasure.

I get confused between irony and sarcasm - put it down to my age.

You have to admit this is a cut above your usual hacked-up Reliant Robin. First time I have seen the Alfetta transaxle mated directly to the V6, and proper independent semi-trailing rear suspension too!

I've always had a strange attraction to trikes - totally pointless in every way, but I just loved the exotic looks of the Wil-Mac and other custom VW designs from the '70s. But the key to it from my perspective is the seating position needs to to be really low, which in this case it isn't...

Laid down works best eh!

Now a race sidecar outfit, i could live with,

Solo or coupled, that's just a completely different 3 wheeled beast!

Whilst watching John, JustSuds, race with his partner at Cadwell on the guzzi outfit, there was another with originally a marine based motor, the name escapes me, could have been Konig, but oh what a noise! :P

Overall look let down by the helmet - this is my favourite.
