147 JTD

My own 147 will be up for sale in the next few weeks, got myself another 156 SW on the way as apparently we're now getting a dog...plus it's an excuse for me to change cars as I've had this one for about 18 months now! Long term keeper for a daily driver that is..
Anyway, it's a 2006 1.9 8V JTD
When I got it I did the customary cam-belt/water pump change. Oil & filter done a few weeks ago.
It does get used more like a van than a car, proved itself very versatile for such activities, wheels tools and even engines have been found in the boot.
Clutch etc all work fine, gears are a little whiny but no worse now than when I got it.
Air-con/climate works properly, handy this week!
Suspension not bad for a 147/156 as these can knock like buggers, this car has a bit from the rear and sometimes from the front but noticed last week when changing the front tyres that the n/s top arm has a bit of bush play yet again...
Uses no oil or water, averages around 48mpg checking on tank fills, not driving miss daisy journeys either so very good.
Although it's the 8V it pulls really well so don't worry about it being a slow coach.
Has a towbar fitted, I added a relay to make the lights work correctly and stop the bulb failure coming on on the dash, short cut omitting a £15 relay by the installer! I've used the towbar a couple of times so all fine there.
Tyres are near new Michelins on the front and very good Avons on the back.
MoT was done last month
I've also changed rear wheel bearings so it's pretty decent down the road now
Miles are just about to turn 160k so is now run in!
Only issue of note is an occasional tendency to bog down when pulling away. I haven't looked into what is causing it, haven't had time with everything else going on. A dip of the clutch and let the revs build and the fault clears itself and off you go, makes me wonder if the air mass meter is blocked with gunk or maybe the air-flow meter is playing up, EGR even. I haven't had chance to pull anything apart and as it's only done it about 5 or 6 times this year and is solved by dipping the clutch which clears it ok for a good while I've never felt compelled to delve into it.
With the fault above and the miles which may put folks off, doesn't worry me, plus a few marks on the car including a gouge on the drivers front which where a Focus attacked me i'll let it go for £600 ono.
A cheap runaround which if nobody wants I'll just keep and use it even more.
