an interesting point about the wave thing, i used to do it but got fed up with the blank faces from 156/147 drivers. more to do with those cars dropping into bangernomics range i guess, they are bought by folks as a cheap runabout rather than for just being an alfa so they don't recognise another one!
an older or more specialised alfa, like a spider, and i'm tempted to wave but rarely do now

anyone else wave?
Giulietta JTD 170
Lancia Delta integrale
Lancia Flavia coupe 1.8 1963
Lancia Dedra turbo
Renault Clio 197 RS

I'm bad with people things
But I should have tried more

I always wave, I was brought up in campervans and they do it like loons! Also Land Rover fraternity are keen to, as for modern Alfas... Guiliettas and Mitos often have glamorous women driving so worth a shot eh? ;)

I am increasingly getting drivers of 80s "classics" waving, 2cvs, Escorts etc, I even gritted my teeth and waved at a guy in an old Beetle the other day... my manners would be tested if an old BMW driver waved however.... :o

I used to ride motor bikes and commute to work so I used to giving a nod to every passing bike
Also brought up on Morris minors so lots of waves with them
Daily driver is very t25 but waves are very hit and miss my kids love taking the piss when I wave and don't get one back or when I don't wave back
Also mountain bike a lot and it's surprising when I ride on the road how many road riders don't even look up and say hello but when out in the woods all mountain bikers stop to have a chat
I surpose car drivers of different makes are the same

Wave when out in the Sud took me totally by surprise - was from an E Type. Probably an ex Sud owner who traded up a bit.

I always wave ......when I remember I am in the old car which is occasionally too late.

Two waved in quick succession the other day and I was just enjoying the drive and not being at work.

So if you do not get a wave back it may not be ignorance, just momentary dimness and we have all been there.
