Not the best of photos, but it is around 1986-7.
This was my first car, the one that started it all.
Fond memories. :D

That is an awesome photo.... what a fab colour! I am going to hunt one out to put on..... saw a very rusty Porsche 928 in Derbyshire at the weekend......

I plan to re do this picture soon as my Dad still lives at this house.
The colour looks pale (pail?) in this photo, but my ti is the same.

once rolled one of those while co-driving for a mate on a rally, we ended up spinning like a top whilst shiny side down. was fun dropping to the roof when undoing the belts.
i wanted to get it back on its' wheels to finish the stage, he wanted to go home :cry:

Funny thing is, that is like the one my Dad taught me to drive in. His was slightly more tan coloured. :lol: :lol:

A45 nr Wellingborough this afternoon I spotted a tidy looking Strada 105 tc. White but didn't see what reg, but it was a mk 2.
My mate had one of them, another cool motor that caught a few out who thought it was "just a fiat!". :lol: :lol:

Hi Guys,
This thread seems the best place to sneak in a picture of my new wheels, I had a MK2 Gti in Atlas Grey with Pirelli Alloys in 1988 and I loved it. I found these MK1 wheels and two centre caps but have to find 2 more centre caps. They are like hens teeth.
The car is going to get plexiglass side and back windows and a fibreglass bonnet and rear hatch.
Plus a racing fuel tank for next season.

Nice one! Obviously wrong badge ;) but I like your plans, similar to what Im doing to my FIAT 127 , spent day making seat brackets

Hi Simon, was being mean about it being a VW! :D Grew up in a VW obsessed family!
