Bare 2 door shell being towed in Notts?

Hi all spotted a silver/ bare metal 2 door shell being towed by a 159 going through Burton Joyce village outside of Nottingham this afternoon, having been driving around in mine ALL day I just popped out in the other half's FIAT so driver probably wondering why I was waving!

Don't think so.... it was a red/ maroon colour,,,,,

i was towing my sud, in silver today, around that area........
