Renault Avantine.

Went to see this for a mate the other day. They feel like a big, big car after driving a Sud. Had on a bit of custom exhaust and the v6 sounded nice.

Did you ever see the one Top Gear turned into a track car? Pretty rare car I would have thought. Think I have only ever seen three or four.... Ever !!

Not to a Matra fan with a family and a larger than life persona .
His approach to life is such that when we went to the Matra museum this last autumn he ended up on promotional photo's, then he had a chat in french with a chap
who was explaining about some of the cars before showing us around for a while. As we passed one of the photo's we suddenly realised we were being given a guided tour
by one of the Matra family.
