Two for Lauren.
Thought these might be of some interest, the history behind them was fascinating. A half Lotus half Austin 7 and a Clairmaine. Haven't checked Google yet.
Re: Two for Lauren.
Think it's a Monte. See my latest on the puzzle post.
Re: Two for Lauren.
The Lotus I have seen before I think - split beam axle with coilovers if I remember rightly? What model would that be? The Lotus 6 looked quite a bit closer to the definitive 7 shape that has endured since the dawn of time, was there a Lotus 5???
Never heard of a Clairemaine before, but looks like a typical "special" from the era. Onwards, to Google!!!
Bronze metallic Motecarlo looks superb, love the period detailing

Lauren ignore that, my fault it's a Clairmonte. For the Lotus google Lotus/Austin 7

Look what else turned up
Re: Two for Lauren.
What a great colour too.
Re: Two for Lauren.
Oooh, now you're talking! Always liked the Gamma coupe, it's just a shame that Lancia didn't develop a flat-6 for it.
There was an electric blue metallic one on ebay a couple of years ago, with a white interior, I was sooooooo tempted

Re: Two for Lauren.
Now what about a HPE style shooting brake???
Re: Two for Lauren.
Yes, always liked the HPE (better than the coupe if truth be told, but that's just me). Or there was a Pininfarina concept Gamma estate, and I think a Fiat 130 estate too. Then there was that shooting brake conversion performed on a Ferrari 365 GTB... looked great on Borranis, designed by Luigi Chinetti and built by Panther Westwinds of all people...
Lauren
PS - I forgot the Fiat 128 3P
PPS - I forgot the TVR Zante
PPPS - I forgot the grandaddy of them all, the Reliant Scimitar GTE (and before anyone corrects me, yes, I do know that the Tornado Sportsbrake came first, but that is ugly!)
