Have you been talking to the wife

TBH I left a sh**y voicemail to my indie on Saturday
He phoned me straight back and has picked her up and solved 99% of the issues at no charge, in fact solved the "clunk" that wasn't on my list :D
She still "ticks" a bit but it might be cam wear so will hve to make a decision on where to go on that one - perhaps I'm being fussy

So Shrew, how many cars have you got on the "go" now

Not too many on the go really,

33 is sold but needs finishing off, 164 qv will be going too, as will the 147 gta if the old man relinquishes it.

Leaving me the modified sud, which will be my everything! Lol!

I'll miss a busso motor big time, and always regretted selling my 3.0 75 some time ago, so I'll make room and bide my time for you to get bored H :P

Truly forgot I had this thread
Well Shrew the news just gets better for you

She's in for a gearbox rebuild  too many racing starts - lost first and second !!
Been given a quote of "its at least £650.00" from the gearbox specialist but I have been told its a **** of a job that needs Alfa tooling so I've got a blank cheque waiting.
All donations gladly accepted.

If it's not too late, you might want to consider a 2 litre box, I will be.

Lower ratios than a 3 litre - or so I was always told.

I won't be auto bahn cruising, so will go for a bit more tyre ripping acceleration instead to 100mph instead.

I hope that advice was correct, I've got a 2 litr box waiting to go in (no idea when 'in' will be tho!)

Shrew shocking selling the 33  revving up the banning button . Chris will back me up
As for the 2 ltr box sounds like what the ford boys used to do back in the day for better bottom end . Would cool if you can do the same?

Shrew. it will need to be a turbo'd P4 as I've heard a rumour that she's ready and the bill is 4 figures :o :o
Good news though she sailed through the MOT so now is taxed again.
Just need to go and max out the credit card - just what I need for christmas

Good news
Thanks to Shrew and the AROC giving my details to "modern classics" who just needed a 3.0 V6 for a comparison to a "everyday" merc 190 cosworth
She will be in the FEB edition so hope all will have a look - maybe even buy it LOL

The impression from the journalist was they where two very different machines one driver driven and the other German :D
Still we'll all have to wait for Feb to find out for sure.

In the mean time prices for 75's are on the increase SHREW

I test drove a 190 cossie years ago, and thought it was crap! I bought a 325i sport mtech beemer instead which was much better until it tried to kill me with a rear end lighter than a unicycle!

I hope the 75 gets a fair unbiased opinion, and the prices can soar all the more H :P

Ill still only havethe same deep pockets but short arms though H!

Im glad you're getting these jobs out the way for when you sell it me cheap anyway mate, keep at it won't you

BLOODY HELL SHREW, you didn't tell me there was 5 wheels all with tyres and a bumper too :o

Was planing to bring the 75 so you could lust drool over it, but I won't be able to get that £20.00 ebay find in it

Still they look OK and I've never seen a Pirrelli alloy wheel before, so it looks like you had a good buy.

See ya Friday
