Roof Lining Mould Spots.

I had a go at cleaning the Roof Lining in the '6 yesterday with not a lot of success. Due to the very damp Winter we've had there are some black mould spots, especially on the lining of the Sun Roof. Tried a proprietary foam upholstery cleaner which didn't do much and then some professional foam cleaner that I have. Although the professional cleaner does do a general clean up it's not touching the mould spots. Thinking, with great trepidation, of trying diluted bleach but I'm very nervous about this.

Any suggestions anyone ?

Try a 50% vinegar 50% water solution to kill the mould. It won't do much for the discolouration so once the vinegar has been left for a few days try diluted bleach in a few applications over time. Test it somewhere inconspicuous first.

That's worth a try, I'll try and give it a go in the next few days - I seem to be stuck doing other less exciting things for a bit !
