Was brill JB .. smiley faces all around ..

This pub would be ideal for future meets given its proximity to the A1 .. it has a warm friendly atmosphere, large area outside which we could all take our chairs and just generally lounge and suitable for those who want to bring the kids along too.

great 1st meet lats night, really pleased with the turnout. great quality

john of course was superb in coming down for the meet, 100+ miles i bet?

not that i'm complaining, missed his comments on my wanted threads so was overjoyed at the bits he brought along for me the fuel filler pipe is in brilliant condition, as good as new, so that will allow a good few parts to go on the sud this weekend.
same goes for the n/s door handle

also a big thanks to jo for the brown sauce, not a brand i've tried before as there was a little confusion.....

but i have to say i won't be trying it anytime soon though


arrives home just after midnight, hands full, sauce bottle under my arm.....went to put the keys in the door....bottle dropped to the floor with a sickening thud

cleaning brown sauce off the path at that time of night isn't the best thing i've ever had to do

cleaning that up at 12-15am this morning must have looked very odd to the neighbors

Its not very often you feel like apologising for a GTA arriving at an Alfa meet, but my Dad, would have to park it there wouldn't he!
