Pint and a Pizza?

Post by PETROLHEAD »

Hi all

Im testing the water, and I appreciate we are a little spread out at the mo, but my local establishment are more than willing to host an Alfa Meet for us, with the ever so slightly Italian theme of a Pint and a Pizza!

We did few of these before and they were marvellous in the summer evenings, so if anyone's interested, put your name down and we'll see what we can do

Tuesdays and Thursdays suit the pub best but it doesnt really matter, except for Monday, no chef!

The pub is The Great Northern Inn, ng23 6nt, and is literally seconds off the A1 near Newark.

Loads of off street car park, right next to the railway, play area, etc etc

All the best

Shrew

ps - and if anyone has any issues travelling there my workshop is 500yds away! ;)

I'm in Chris, probably Kev too I should think now hes got 2 cars that do gazillions to the gallon! Ha ha!

The Great Northern Inn will simply appreciate the business whenever we turn up, no need to book or anything, just arrive, order, eat drink chat and enjoy!

If theres a few of us, ill just give them some notice,

Just to make sure they've got plenty of pepperoni in!

When are you free in may Chris?

I'll try and get there in the Alfetta although can't say that I enjoy the longish night runs in the Alfetta, the candles that pass for headlights don't inspire much confidence !

Sadly the " Lincs Lot " are very quiet at the moment, hard to get anything going, just hope that the Summer Nights might tempt a few more to come out of hibernation.
