Hi guys and gells,

It would appear this one slipped by many of us, but having heard from the op, Chris, earlier today, i have to agree that a meet up at the great northern inn whilst we enjoy such good weather, is certainly overdue and shouldn't be passed by!

Can we summon a hook up for the near future maybe? :D

Sounds good to me mate, once the Imp is fully functional we're also planning a Burton Waters trip too...

How about Wednesday the 25th?

Im hoping to be taking Ted and the Trofeo to Cadwell Park, and then join him for a drink and catch up to follow,

It could tie in nicely with a GNI e evening meet?

Looking forward to Wednesday in a big way,

Think I'm bringing kids as well for train spotting as it isn't a school night

Thanks to all for the kind reception to the Imp, I know Rob appreciated it, makes all the effort worthwhile in the end ;)

Both ‘N’ Reg so born at the same time.

The sud looks big compared to the Imp.

It looks great.

Keith's won a few accolades with his Sud. Rob has hopefully got some to come. Of course he'll mention the small part his Dad had in the resto'. Lol

He's joined the local Boston Classic car club and been entered into the "young members concours event"......wonder if I will indeed get a mention

The Imp did make the Sud look small, not a feat you'd have thought, imagine how tiny it looks against his Suzuki! :D

Re the number plates I guess Rob's Imp was manufactured pre 1st Jan '73 and Keith's Sud is later? Or am I poking a hornet's nest?

No Hornets coming your way mate :D
The eligibility of the black number plates is on a rolling 40 year cycle like the tax is...

Yes mate.
If you have your car registered as a Historic for the free road tax then you are also eligible for the older style plates, so basically anything pre Jan 1st 1978 at the moment.
As it's a rolling deal like the tax is now again then from April 1st next year the 1978 cars will become eligible for it, so getting into many a Sud owners territory now ;)
