Alfasuds at National Alfa Day 2016

National Alfa Day 2016 will be at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire on July 10.
There'll be model parking available so all Alfasud owners in the UK should make a note of the date.

Although there will be I'm sure many of our cars on SORN at the moment and laid-up or receiving TLC over the winter months, it's never too early to register your interest! So, if you want to attend then please let me know by making your choice of the following options and then please give brief details of your car if you intend to be part of our dedicated model parking area.

The previous record for the number of 'Suds and Sprints on display at an AROC gathering was thirty-one cars at Yorkshire Alfa Day at nearby Renishaw Hall a few years back. As the guy who runs AROC's Alfasud Register and who will be organising the dedicated parking area, I'd be seriously chuffed if we could see a new record set at NAD 2016!!

we got close to the record at mitcar this year so a repeat performance of a great sud gathering would be great to see. some good comments in the club mag and from john and his team after mitcar so just shows that the suds & sprints have a fond affection amongst those who know

I know how you feel. GTV6 passed on Friday. Only two advisories.

1. Oil leak
2. Tyre valve stems slightly deteriorated

We are talking 1986 Alfetta here. No 1 is compulsory and No2 is on tyres/wheels that were new last year?

The organisers of National Alfa Day have decided at this very late stage to park up all Alfa Romeos arriving at the Show in model order. I'm not exactly sure why or if this was always going to be the intention, in which case details could and probably should have been released before now so soon before the Day, or else it's something that's just been decided upon.

Either way and inevitably, this might well cause hold-ups getting into the event so, in an attempt to let everybody know where they're going and whereabouts to park up at NAD, I've attached a site map here to hopefully speed up entry for visitors.

The event opens officially at 10:30am but I will be onsite from 9:30am to oversee Alfasud model parking. I hope this helps and that we manage to get our cars parked up and in position quickly.

Thanks for the pics Colin, a good turn out of boxer motors as we must not forget the 33's.
I didn't get to see hardly any of the other cars, but it was good to catch up with friends which is what it is all about.
Nice to also meet a few more CAF members who I only knew by name.
Now to get that car clean
