Our Newest & Youngest Member!

Post by PETROLHEAD »

Hello all

after watching me tinker with and typing about Alfa's for some years now, my youngest son, Jixxer James (yes that is his real name, from my history of Suzuki GSXR motorcycles, similarly nicknamed Gixer's, but Mum didn't want the spelling aswell as the name! :P ) has decided its time he said his two penneth, so i have agreed to let him have an account, solely based on the facts that he is already an avid Alfisti, and also that as the site is our own, we know that we only have decent sorts in here, and he won't be subject to any misbehaviour or exposed to any undesirables at all, so all is good,

Well, there is Chris but he's in cyprus, and having already met each other, Jix knows he is bigger than Chris and poses no direct threat whatsoever! ;)

He'll be along himself later, after school, to introduce and say a little bit about himself, and how he has already come to love Alfa's, particularly Suds.

He has shown great taste in cars, and wheels already, so feel free to engage with him on all matters, he will have a valid opinion i'm sure :)

Jixxer James, enjoying the fruits of BLS racing and a huge high point in his young Alfisti career!

Hi Jixxer, what a great name you have. My nephew was named after a motorbike as well - James. It's a rare motorbike now but a common name for people. But a friend of mine named his daughter Emily something something something Firenza because he was into performance Vauxhalls at the time. That's a bit more unusual :D

I love Alfasuds too, but although I have driven the parts around I have never driven a whole one!

I wanted to call my daughter Laverda 25 years ago, but my wife wouldn't let me, - I still think we should have done. I've never asked my daughter what she would have thought of it, though.
