Yes, I'm going with Panther as well - either a Lima or Kallista, not sure which.

I feel I ought to know the blue tailed car, I think it is American I just can't place it...

The Phase 2 I'm working on was opened up underneath to allow engine/gearbox/prop/axle to be dropped out.

The Phase 1 is therefore stiffer, and handles better.....not bad for an early 60's design.
Yeah, I can imagine, must be stiffer than the steel sportscars of the time. Bet the fibreglass crazed all over the place around the exhaust though.

There were some pretty spectacular fibreglass 'indie' cars in the 60s, I love most of them - the Rochdales, Lotuses, Reliant Scimitars, Bond Equipes, Gilbern, etc. Shame the regulations are too tight for any more indie manufacturers to start up nowadays without a huge wad of cash, would be great to see that similar level of originality displayed on something made out of ultra-light carbon fibre using all the modern CAD techniques to optimize it's rigidity vs weight, rather than seeing the same old boring SUV design churned out by everyone.

It's got me stumped. Although I was briefly wondering if it was actually the front of the car and not the back. Still can't place it though...
