Hello all,

I have recently joined this Forum, and wanted to say hello to everyone, and to thank Kev and Shrew for both accepting my application and to also thank them for setting this up and running it, and to wish them good luck with it all.

Being also on the other forum, and not being a big poster or was not intimately involved in the goings on, just by reading all the threads and posts, it was clear something was not right there.
I have had a wander around this forum and the whole make up and atmosphere seems much much better....well done guys, and once again....thank you.

Hi John,

Thanks very much.

You all have succeeded in my view, just how it should be, devoid of all the politics and so on....glad to be on board, thanks.

Hi there Kev!

The atmosphere on this forum is good and a warm welcome is guaranteed. I felt very welcome when I signed up. Don't mention polish though. Or screen wash......and definitely not air freshener.

Which Alfa model(s) do you have? I have a sprint and a gtv6 rusting on the drive.

Hello Steve,

thanks for that, i have received a very warm welcome, and thank you all.
Hahaha, i see...i won't ask....lol

After a 30 year alfa absence where i had a Series 1, 2 and 3 ti's, i have rekindled my passion.
I currently have a Series 2 Super, and possibly soon a ti.

Both lovely cars in my view Steve, and if the Goddess of pound notes is kind to me, i would like to own both a Sprint and GTV6 too one day.

Hi Kev

thanks for your joining, and your comments re the forum mate, much appreciated.

hopefully we'll tease you into a little more activity on here as you said you were a bit of a sleeper on the other forum, but we're generally we're just a bunch of mates with the same daft idea's on here, so an easy gang to join for any alfa lover really! :D

as we get a few more members scattered around the place, we'll get more active with some meets and events too, but there in the midlands hopefully we'll drag you around a bit and find our way down to your neck of the woods sooner or later too ;)

welcome to the madhouse :? :?

Hi Shrew,

My pleasure........

lol, That's a good way to put it, although, whilst a 'sleeper', i did pop on quite often and read with pleasure and interest, the posts and threads.

lol, good stuff.

Hi Kev,

Yes, i have heard that myself........

Now there's a question to ponder on Kev, perhaps over a beer or two.
Worthy of a new thread perhaps, you could invite feedback to help you make a decision.....

There.....decision made....lol

Ha ha!! I live adjacent to Gods waiting room. 7m North of Eastbourne!

On a more sober note. What is happening re MITCAR? Can his Kevness* give us an update?

*or indeed His Shrewness.

mitcar has gone cold, not from their end, just i feel it is a bit early for us to be having a big ambitious trial at a meeting and fall on our face, that was nearer when we launched though, maybe a little more interest now?

i'll try and reveive the thread, see if there is anything to be done ;)
