The bike parts on the bench put me on the right track, as a brit bike man etc

Then the brakes and chicken byriani rim finished the puzzle!

Good one though, its only because i love cafe racers that i know of him at all,

Lucky break Tony!

Not often you get a cup of tea and heaps of info off a guy as talented as this. Dresda Eng is only 5ml from my house but you'd never find it 'cos its in the middle of a field-honest. Believe it or not I was delivering a Ford part for his wifes car,he couldn't be bothered to make it himself. Shrew he had a set of inlet valves with the slimmest stems I've ever seen,he did say the make but can't recall the name-they make valves for him specially. Best morning at work for years.

For my 18th birthday my Gran bought me a brand new Triumph Trophy TR6C american export, high rise bars with number plate between twin high level exhausts on the wrong side left and oil in the frame. Only single carb but 100mph and 40ml/gal. Vibrated itself to death under 40mph. Lol

My dad had an old Triumph cafe racer, about the same time as I had my 'simson'.

Watched classic bike racing a couple of times, and while a bit cliched, it would have to be Manx Norton for me.
