My sons Brera 2.4 JTDM is leaking fluid from the high pressure power steering pipe.
The whole pipe is a long thing which goes round the houses from the pump, and ends up at the rack.
Costs £200 if its in stock, and is a PITA to fit, I understand.
The leak is up top near the pump, from a joint between a steel pipe, and a short flexi section.
Someone on line, (Alfaowner Forum ?) has fitted a 10mm copper pipe, with brass compression fittings to replace the same leaking section.
I thought of doing this, but then wondered if the fittings were adequate for the PAS pressure?
The alternative is to get a local hydraulics company to make a stronger repair section?
PAS pipe
Re: PAS pipe
Local hydraulics place made up and fitted a flexi repair for the HP PAS pipe.
£60 all in. A result as far as I'm concerned.

Re: PAS pipe
Yes indeed.
Sounds a better alternative. Nice one.

Re: PAS pipe
A good result and probbly a better solution than the OE, as well as way cheaper!
God bless the old fasioned engineer shops that still exist, I try and use as many as I can rather than buying everything online new, places like where I got the radiator re-cored, we need to try and preserve places like that and show support before it ends up that we're a 100% throw away society.
Well done, cracking job
