New Sud racers

Post by Veesix75 »

I regretted selling the sud racer shell that Kev did such a great job with, but needs must.

To console myself I’ve just bought these two racers to replace it, I’ll need a dose of the incredible shrinking man serum to fit in them.

Some where in the loft are four similar racers, one in gulf livery, one a red and white trofeo livery, one the red and yellow trofeo livery and one the red, blue and gold trofeo livery. Plus two sprint trofeo racers, one gulf and one black. Most are home projects someone else has done on Solido base 1/43 models to a gift std. mine courtesy of eBay.

Over the past 10 years I collected every mini champs sud released, all the s1 ti’s and the four doors. Plus a few more Solido racers. Must have 20+ plus.

I need a display cabinet ! Or according to my wife I need therapy.

Rob started to have a few too, found some in unusual places years ago, like the 2p push and drop machines at Skeggy amusements :D Spent a fortune "winning" them!
Giulietta JTD 170
Lancia Delta integrale
Lancia Flavia coupe 1.8 1963
Lancia Dedra turbo
Renault Clio 197 RS

But I should have tried more
