Black 155

Post by LooLooSud33Spider »

Hi guys. I’m trying to locate an old Customer car it’s a Black 155 2.5V6 wide body the car had an interesting Reg of “XYR 1T”. According to Dvla is still on it. The car hasn’t been taxed for 15yrs now so I guess it’s in a garage somewhere It belonged to a very good customer / friend
Any info on it’s where about would be appreciated.

Slight thread hijack, but reminded me how much I eventually liked my 155’s. Eventually as it was love hate after my first 2 litre widebody both snapped a cam belt and then later spun a bearing. I broke it up for more than it cost and bought a 2 litre sport pack, which was a great and trouble free car even at high miles.

I also had a blue v6, which I Bought cheap, ran for a few years and sold for spares to Graham Seager when he raced a 155. However Kev Evans put it back on the road for one of his customers and according to dvla it’s still around on sorn- N181RDD.

I’d like another.

Apologies tho Lou, I don’t know the car above

I’m still annoyed at myself for not buying a 155 silverstone when they were cheap and were a few around.

I know they were pretty much a base model with black bumpers, and the wide bodies drove better, BUT it was a homologation special for the btcc cars at the time I was really getting into cars and motorsport.

I had two 1.8 16v 155's and miss them both. Even if they were based on the Fiat Tipo and more Fiat than Alfa, they were still fun cars.

I had a green 2000 skinny a year or so ago, spent time welding the rear arches and floor up then sold it before even getting to drive it...had a lovely interior and a dash full of dials, great stuff
very similar to the Lancia Dedra, had a few of those..
