Shopping list

Post by Johnboy »

Hi guys

I hope your all safe and well in these sad times .
As I'm now not working . The 33 will be looked at . So there's a couple of bits I need .
What fuel hose do you peeps use as im going to fit a swirl pot . I'll be running it inside the car . As will the brake lines be . Which brings me onto the brake side. I need a length of braided brake line with stock fittings . This will go from the back axle beam to the inside of the car .so needs to flex obviously.
Any ideas where to buy would be great guys
Stay safe

I tended to trust a good car part place near me and they would if you chose a quiet time go off and root around for something that would do the job.

Also just bought their best modern fuel pipe then cleaned all the writing off it so it looked more period. Good luck.

There not that many places to order from online, I think demon tweeks bought jjc.

My fuel line is external still, copper front to back and rubber fuel hose each end, I think it’s 8mm.

I use a facet ‘barrel’ shaped pump.

Brake lines are inside.

Tweeks can be a rip off but the usually have everything you need.

Hi Johnny
I use Pirtek for fuel hose and connections.
Alternatively try rally design. They will make-up braided brake pipes. Sensible money aswell.
