It's at 4K with seven days left. People are evidently very interested in this bit of automotive history - will see what it fetches.

They were surprisingly popular in the US, amazingly. 2-cylinder rear mounted boxer engine conforming to the Kei-Jidosha rules at the time (360cc maximum capacity).

Not my favourite Kei car (that would have to be the Honda Z800) but interesting nonetheless. Their biggest issue (predictably) is rust.

Slight deviation, but clearing my 75 out today and found some car security devices c1990, I'd forgotten about them.

Oh, note to Kev, there's 2 cassettes in the 75 glove box, I'd guess at New Order and U2, hopefully nothing of Mrs Hayes early collection. Feel free to play and post on here at my expense...

Back to car security.....

I'll share your blushes Tim, like we did with Shrews torn trousers! Sorry mate for not hanging onto the 75 causing you to be a human spinning top :)
U2 or New Order, nothing wrong there especially early U2 stuff.....if it's anything embarrassing of Mrs Hayes collection then that had better be kept quiet indeed

Just fitted one to my sud as I have not sorted door locks yet and the steering lock is not much to look at.

Anything that causes problems to the low life is worth while. Esp at four quid from a charity shop. :D

The shell that was used to build my droop snoot had a Krooklok sticker on the window, so of course I had to get one. Used it all the time, just for a laugh of course. You need to be "of a certain age" to remember them, they had a hook that went around the clutch pedal and another that went over the steering wheel rim. Not very secure by modern standards, but any potential thief had to find my secret fuel pump switch as well

Yes, of that age, I had one as well. I was told to put it around the brake pedal as that should not go to the floor if stamped on. The fact that it would probably have broken the steering wheel first was irrelevant.
Secret fuel pump switch , very Mad Max. I had a switch, wired to earth out my coil so the car could not start. Dare I say a F#rd switch that fitted in the rectangular hole on the centre consul by the gear lever was perfect for the job. :D

Ols Skool rules....I use a Krooklock a steering wheel bar a handbrake - gear lever lock plus a battery isolator. If that little lot doesn't slow them down then I give up.

Hi kev
Heard about it . Very sad . remember when they did quattro . The guy sadly died a month or so after they finished it. At least he got to drive it. This guy sadly didn't :(
I've been watching it on Monday nights on C4 . Always a tearjerker

Never seen that dry ice trick before, has anyone else done it?
For those that haven't seen the show they used dry ice over the thick bitumen substance on the floors which made it super brittle and easy to chip off....
Fancy trying it myself :D
