Don't worry mate,

your partner in crime is still here tip tapping away! ha ha!

Well, its been a while, Christmas come and gone and all that, but here we are, on the brink of spring, and everyone must be itching to throw those garage doors open, let the cobwebs of winter be blown away from their Classic Alfa's, and their forum keyboards!

so all in all, the timing could be just right eh?

Its up and running now, and will continue to get tweaked, perfected and beautified as we go.

Its free to join, and none of that tiered or class member nonsense either!

So lets get cracking, spread the word, and a hearty warm welcome to all who come and sail in her!

ha ha! a good cuppa?

i think this one would be a bit stewed,

best to think of it as a cask ale, or maybe a whiskey?

much better with age and experience!

Hi Guys
I was going to call myself Orville, but as the sud went a little to the "dark side" I think Kermit will suit more
Just finished cleaning the dash after the windscreen was successfully refitted ready to fit it tomorrow - then remembered I needed to fit the heater first
Just going to freshen up and get back here to "play" for a bit - might even start a thread letting everybody know whats happening to the sud

Shrew and Kev - what can I say

WHAT TOOK SO B***** LONG

Hi Gents,

Well done and good luck.

Quick update, the track sud is not yet ready for paint, got to a point late last year and decided, i did not want to risk
wrecking the car racing it, so i purchased a fully sorted pug 106, hoping to take my ards test mid Febraury and get some
track/race expiriance this year, as for the race sud, going to finish it over the summer months and hopefully use it for some
classic racing next year.

The black sud (Sud 16V) is parked up, the engine is awaiting the crank and flywheel back from impulse developments in Oldham,
they are lightening and balancing a 16v flywheel, the original flywheel was from a 8v, the trigger wheel gives
me more options regards timing, also changed the rear engine casing to accept the flywheel sensor.

Will post some pics when they come available.

Liam

we'll get the section name altered so folks know where to look

not bad that, half an hour from issue to solution! and that included fetching a beer!

sorry for the oversight Kam, but it gave me the ideal opportunity to flex my forum muscles! ha ha!!

Alfetta's now included as they should be in the 75 lounge.

welcome guys, one and all.
we both were hoping to get some guys to move over to us, not exclusively as we know there are elements of other forums that suit members, but hoping that the relaxed format may suit everyone.
a great start, thanks to all.

now, can i please make a request before it starts to look like it's just my cars.

there's a "mark forums read" tab at the top right tone, would this be what you're looking for?

when a new post comes up the little triangle goes green, when you've read stuff it is red. you can click on the little triangle/arrow to go straight to new, unread posts. hope that helps mate, if not just shout and we will see what can be done 8-)

Do you know, I like this forum. It has a nice friendly vibe. Feels kind of good to be part if it. ;)

And, just as the forum launches, I buy myself another Sud! :P

It arrives at the end of next week. I'll post pictures on here then and you guys will be the first to see it. 8-)

All the best on this brand new venture Gents.

Offer still stands if you want to put some stickers on the rallycar

Congrats on getting this up and running. As in a lot of things in life its easy to talk about it but far more commitment is reqd to actually start it and see it through.
