What gave you the Bitter for heavens sake. The 2600 is possibly the only roadworthy example in the country.

I’ve always found the bitter a good looking car so it just registered with me. (I think it’s Actually better looking than the opel Monza it’s based in) Whilst a casual glance it could be confused with an X-19 I knew it wasn’t as the boot lid and bumper were all wrong. I had a brain fart in the 2600 but after you said it was Italian it was the obvious choice. Btw. I don’t suppose you’ve got the contact details of the owner ? I have a technical manual for the 2600 that they may find useful.

Typical, we spoke for ages but didn't even share details even names.

The one with the duct, it looks like it's not a bonnet as I'd expect to see a windscreen in shot...so is that a cunning picture of some rear engined car with a scoop in the engine lid at the back?

With the taper on the quarter panel I agree with the Fiat 124 filler flap and the Escort mk1,
I thought maybe a tvr with the bonnet lever, but not sure. Repeater looks Italian?
No idea on the vent.

I still think #3 is a front engined bonnet. The leading edge looks too slopy for it to be rear deck lid (I May be wrong) it also appears to be a big flat bonnet with very few lines or bulges.
It’s certainly one of Tony’s more challenging pics.

Is no3 a Lambo?

I was kinda on track with No3, in that the windscreen wasn't in view as the picture was looking down the bonnet not up towards the 'screen!

The filler cap in the grill I recognise , but can't place.
The bonnet bulge reminds me of of a first gen Celica Supra (late 1980's)

Well so far three are correct but you've got the wrong Volvo Clue...there maybe a French and Italian in there.

I think #3 is a Maserati Khamsin. Lovely motor, shame about the Citroen hydraulics though.

It's part of a large bonnet.

I should have got the Khamsin, I knew I recognised it. Did some work recently on this one.
