The Puzzle Post!
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Nothing to compare it to but guess it's Mini Jem/Marcos size.
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Now that IS small for a mid-engine car - same size as a Cox GTM, and that had the luxury of a transverse Mini engine. The Molson is an inline flat-6!
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Nobody playing anymore???

Re: The Puzzle Post!
......but you got the Quattro and Vitesse spot on. Blue one Italian designer but not Bertone.Veesix75 wrote:Doh.....Keith beat me !
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Well, being pedantic I also got the Daimler right cos it's a sp250 not just a 'dart'.
Did we both get the old green bull nose thing wrong ?

Re: The Puzzle Post!
The van was a Peugeot by the way - just a couple to go.
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Cheers Tony, is the blue door a '65 or 66 Mustang ?
Tim, thought you would have spotted the Elan, there was enough of them about at the weekend.

Re: The Puzzle Post!
Love the pug nosed Peugeot van. Excellent.
Re: The Puzzle Post!
I only get to see the rear of the Elan's tho Keith, all too fast !
Re: The Puzzle Post!
I think the mystery supercar butress panel is a Lotus Esprit (Peter Stevens era). The mustard C-pillar is painfully familiar but isn't a Simca 1100, Renault 12 or Scoobydoo 1000... slightly flummoxed
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Esprit Turbo 4cyl it is. Keiths guess at Shovit was half right. Opel Kadet Super 1200
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Opal Kadet, of course.
Love the look of the Mustang, cheers Tony.

Re: The Puzzle Post!
I knew there was a reason it looked so familiar
Just goes to show, once you are out of the loop for a few years... or maybe I'm just getting old
I recognised all the others though, except the van... honest

Re: The Puzzle Post!
None of us would disbelieve you Lauren.
Re: The Puzzle Post!
Oooh, that last one - you meanie
I think the first one is a Reliant Scimitar GTE (SE6), the cabin vents were built into the wraparound rear light bezels.
Second one is an Auburn Speedster, probably a replica, although there were some nice repro examples made (mainly using Cadillac V8 power). The original was a supercharged straight-8, and famously had a plaque on the dash to prove that each car off the line had been tested at 100 mph...
The third one is a Lancia Fulvia Zagato I reckon.
No idea what the other two are!

Re: The Puzzle Post!
Third one of batch 2 is a Dodge Charger with the A01 Light Pack - turn signal repeaters in the hood. I can also tell it is a '68-'70 model year but can't pin it down further than that...

Re: The Puzzle Post!
Yes the Auburn had the plaque on the dash Lauren. Told you was getting mean. Lmao. Will give people chance to get home from their day out.
Re: The Puzzle Post!
The BMW motorbike is a small one so probably 500cc. Earles forks and so probably plunger rear suspension.
But is overhead valve, so R52 I think.
Is the last one a Ford Pop ?
