Last ones for now. As I say, not perfect, but it'll do for now I think

Looking good, The rear end is great as TBH I prefer the later bumpers and veloce body kits on Sprints.
Headlining looks good too and must have been a challenge so great result thus far.
Keep it up and keep up the updates too.

Well the heart of the car has been repatriated! Bolted in to place in the key points except for under the front cross member which quite frankly is a pain in the ass to locate in position. From end is supported currently with trolley jack and wooden blocks.
However the engine is now up into the engine bay. Next is to wrestle the front suspension arms into the aforementioned pain in the arse crossmember. I see much cursing, swearing and skint knuckles to come..........

Just keep at it, it will go . :D

I remember that stage very well and your right its a gutsy task. I thought at one stage

I could either have the engine in or the suspension on, but not both at the same time.

Well a small step forward yesterday on project Sprint, returned to the interior. Rolling around on a cold garage floor didn't appeal, so decided to tackle one of the awkward interior jobs I had been kind of avoiding.
Anyway upholstered the centre panels of the GTV rear seats with same material I used for headlining. In throes of making 2 side infill panels the same from another set of centre panels cut in half, as GTV rear seats are narrower. Not fixed in place yet, but not too unhappy at result.

been a wee while -Thought I would post a wee update. Decided to avoid rolling around on cold concrete floors for the next while and concentrate on trim etc. Trimming the non standard rear seats to an acceptable standard being the trickiest job in my opinion. Anyway -couple of pics attached. The centre panel is set and in place, the side panel only trial fitted but I think it’s going to work ok. Material is same as I used for the headlining and pillar trims. Purists will recoil in horror!!

Interior now pretty much complete and finalised, bar neededing to retension the headlining and nearside sill needs trims - but can't fit them until I sort the misalignment on the wing. Small stuff though all said ....... Quite pleased with how this looks if I may say so myself.......

Proper 2+2 now, how is it for room? Sometimes the front seat upgrades make the car look smaller, must say though the Alfa script makes a nice touch 8-)

Thanks Kev. I am quite pleased with it. Seats were an easy mod - they were taken from a Phase 1 GTV which was going to the scrapper.
