Under Bonnet Light

Having recently broke the under bonnet light on the Sprint…well it had been broken before, repaired and broken again I decided to replace it with a small 4 LED scooter number plate light found on ebay. For a fiver it was worth a punt and the dimensions where just about spot on. This may be useful for somebody else looking for a replacement...

It took about 30 mins of filing and drilling to make up a plate out of ABS plastic, you could use 3mm ally plate as it may be stronger…add a couple of spade ends to the wires and taadaa! you have a replacement light that looks like it was fitted in the factory…

But would it be possible to hide the wires a bit more in the bonnet bracing strip?
