Hi Lou

That car ended up near me in Nottingham, i spotted it at the guys business which is near the Notts County FC Ground, and wandered over for a chat.

I can't remember his name now, but a nice guy, also had a 33 too if i recall correctly that he wanted some spares off me at for at some point.

I seem to remember there being a story around that episode, that the buyer of the Sud in the show was completely staged, he was the sound boom operator or something like that!

Thanks for the update Shrew. I don’t know if anyone else noticed but it was originally a Westune supplied car (our logo was on the plates). Well chances are I actually made the number plates on that car. when I left school and started in the business it was one of my first jobs. Dad showed me the ropes and I also made some on Saturdays. When I was only 13 or 14. These days Dad would have had social services on him for child exploitation or some other bul***T. Due to the Westune connection I like to keep track of that particular car it as I’d still like to buy it one day. I was offered it a few years ago but had no brass (typical). So please if you see it again can you pass my details on to the current owner.

Lou

If i'm down that way i'll try to pop in and see if he and the car are there.

Thanks Shrew. I’m in no rush to buy but just like to know my names on the list if you know what I mean. Tell him to keep the original plates !!! Even if he changes them

I do believe he had a small number of issues to sort out, it was by no means Ed China's finest hour i was told, and Brewer would sell his Granny a lemon so that doesn't surprise me either!

I could never understand how they made a feature of "doing the brakes" then filmed the car locking up at the rear and squirming sideways on the road.
