Drive shaft came loose

I forgot to post on here that I had an utter disaster with the Sud last week.
The driveshaft came loose whilst driving.
I thought I would just be able to replace the broken spacer and replace the bolts.
But, unfortunately the caliper bolts have ripped out and broken the the gearbox casing.
I did use thread lock but this time I am going to use RTV as specified by Alfa. 😭

The Sud is all back together and working better than ever now. A lot of work in a domestic garage in the recent heat wave. A big thank you to Darren Ward for selling me a spare gearbox and also for spotting a new nearside caliper on Ebay Italy.

Tomorrow the Sud is off to Auto Bodywork Repairs in Bramhall where I live for some small bodywork blemishes to be sorted. Dave at ABR sprayed it in 2006 and still has some paint left! 😃

Am I right in thinking the forward rotation of the shaft, tries to loosen the inner driveshaft bolts.
Maybe RTV, or longer bolts with locknuts/nylocs on the rear of the flange?
